At a depth of 150–200 kilometers, under ~50,000 atmospheres (5–6 GPa) and temperatures of 900–1,300°C, carbon atoms are pressed into the hardest crystal lattice in nature.

Crystallization takes between one and 3.3 billion years. Most diamonds are older than complex life on Earth — a geological inheritance in the fullest sense.

A rare volcanic eruption forms a kimberlite pipe: the magma climbs at 4–20 meters per second and delivers the diamonds to the surface within hours — otherwise they would revert to graphite.

From kimberlite rock or alluvial deposits the rough is recovered, carefully sorted, cut and polished. Our natural diamonds arrive with an international gemological certificate.

In a clean vacuum chamber sits a seed plate — a thin slice of diamond on which the crystal will grow. Lab conditions are the opposite of nature's: low pressure instead of immense pressure.

A microwave plasma cracks a mixture of hydrogen and methane at ~800–1,000°C. Atomic hydrogen acts as a sculptor: it constantly etches away any carbon that does not bond as diamond.

Carbon atoms settle into the lattice layer by layer, a few microns per hour. A gem-sized stone takes 6 to 10 weeks of absolute precision.

The rough is cut and polished exactly like a natural diamond, then graded by IGI — D-E color, VVS-VS1 clarity, Excellent polish. A real diamond, at a fair price.
